As you can tell, altdeath has been on life support for ages. Good things came from it, but since my free-time sink is now Odamex development I simply do not have time to give the site the attention it deserves. News posting has slowed to a crawl, and my other ambitious ideas were never finished. So rather than continue to allow spam comments to pile up I've decided to shut it down for now. The forums will stay up for the forseeable future. The IRC channel still exists and is quite popular. I still plan on continuing the site one day, but that day is not today.
